Purpose
This step helps you turn your design into real learning experiences.
Your goal is to create activities that are:
- Clear and easy to follow
- Practical and relevant
- Manageable in time and effort
- Accessible to all learners
- Aligned to your delivery format (online, in-person, blended)
Focus on what learners do, not what you deliver
Core design principles (use throughout)
- Keep activities simple and focused
- Reduce cognitive load (short, clear, structured tasks)
- Build confidence early (especially Week 1)
- Prioritise real-world application
- Design for access (low tech, low confidence, flexible use)
- Adapt activities to your delivery format
If an activity feels complex → it probably is
